The Cherokee County Warriors continue to dominate their competition on the football field. Last Thursday, they defeated Munford 56-10 behind four touchdowns by quarterback Carson Tittle (two rushing, two passing). Running back Jacob Cornejo also accumulated 170 yards and two touchdowns (23 and 9 yards) on 15 carries.
The Warriors (6-0) continue to maintain their No. 2 ranking for another week, behind defending state champion Andalusia (6-0). The Bulldogs beat No. 10 Bibb County 27-10 last week.
Cherokee County is off this weekend, while Andalusia travels to Geneva (2-4).
