Alabama State Troopers Work Two Wrecks in Cherokee County, One in DeKalb County on Tuesday

Alabama State Troopers responded to three different accidents on Tuesday in our area.

In Cherokee County, at 7:35pm – the driver of a 2001 Toyota – a male from Centre, had lost control, and then wrecked on County Road 22.  He was unhurt – however a female passenger was injured.  That victim was transported via ambulance to a nearby medical facility for treatment of non-specified injuries.

And shortly thereafter, at around 8:45pm – a male from Centre reportedly crashed his vehicle, a 2006 Chrysler, also on County Road 22.  Fortunately, he was only shaken up and not injured in that mishap.

Meanwhile at 9:00pm in neighboring DeKalb County, the driver of a 2009 Chevy (a female from Collinsville), and a total of three passengers were hurt in a single-vehicle mishap taking place on County Road 39.  The extent of their injuries remains unknown.

All three wrecks are still being investigated by – Alabama State Troopers.
