One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident taking place in Etowah County on Monday.
According to the Alabama State Trooper Post in Jacksonville the mishap took place just north of Hokes Bluff – close to the Centre Road – and it involved a 2013 GMC, being driven by a male from Rome, Georgia. Afterwards, the driver was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
That wreck remains under investigation by State Troopers.
