According to the Coosa Valley News, an 18 year old Polk County, Georgia jailer – Jacob Lee Franklin of Centre, has been fired and arrested after an “inappropriate” relationship with an inmate.

Reports indicate that Franklin had been terminated weeks back but was jailed recently, following an investigation that revealed he’d been passing notes to a female inmate, dating back to early September; the GBI investigation indicated that Franklin kissed three inmates and fondled them while they were incarcerated.

Franklin stands charged with – three counts of Improper Sexual Contact.
