Sizemore Indicted By Summerville, Georgia Grand Jury

A 52 year resident of Summerville, Georgia – has been indicted by a Chattooga County Grand Jury, with allegations that she had stolen from a dead man earlier this year.

Lisa Sizemore was arrested, after Summerville Police had found a truck belonging to Russell Taylor, stuck in the mud behind his home on Espy Street.  Police say Sizemore was doing some work cleaning gutters for Taylor at the time of his death.  Officers say Sizemore found Taylor deceased in his home and did not report his death, and instead stole his truck and belongings.  She was indicted on several charges of Burglary, Auto Theft and Concealing the Death of Another.

Taylor’s death is believed to have occurred sometime – January 18th based upon recovered video footage.  Following his death, Sizemore was recorded taking Taylor’s truck, and loading up at least three pickup truck loads of various articles, that belonged to him, which included an electric bicycle, and an outboard boat motor over the course of several days.

The GBI Medical Examiner’s Office is ruling Taylor’s death to be complications from a medical condition and NO FOUL PLAY was found.

At the conclusion of the investigation into the matter, Sizemore was charged with Felony Theft by Taking, and with Entering an Automobile to Commit a Theft (A Felony) and the misdemeanor charge of “…Failing to Notify Coroner of a Suspicious or Unusual Death.”
