The driver of a 2001 International 18-Wheeler was transported for treatment, following a wreck in Cherokee County on Sunday Night.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville, a male resident of Collinsville lost control of the big rig driving on County Road 31 (approaching Highway 411) – flipping the truck over. The driver was carried by ambulance, to Atrium Medical Center in Rome, Georgia for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The truck was reportedly hauling a load of fresh-cut corn.
According to reports that wreck occurred at 10:54pm – and it is still under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
