Three Facing Murder Charges in Connection with Death of Gadsden Man

Three suspects have been charged in the fatal shooting of a man who was robbed and killed during a gun sale in east Alabama earlier this year.

Gadsden Police on Thursday announced capital murder charges against Jakarious Markel Moore, age 19 of Odenville – D’Angelo Devante Martin, age 26 of East Gadsden – and Kendrick Terril Williams, 19 of Gadsden.  They have been charged in the slaying of Jacob Graham.  The deadly shooting happened at 11:50pm on March 30th on Mississippi Street in East Gadsden.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Graham inside his Infiniti G35 suffering from several gunshot wounds.

He was taken to UAB Hospital – where he died some two weeks later – but prior to his passing he was able to tell detectives that he was robbed and shot while he was trying to sell a gun.  After the conversation an investigation led to the arrest and recovery of the murder weapon.

The suspects were initially charged with robbery, and also with Attempted Murder, and those charges were upgraded to Capital Murder following Graham’s death.
