Senior Troopers Daniel Money and Eric Watson Named as ATCU Community Heroes of the Quarter

During challenging times, or even in day to day life, ordinary people are stepping up in extraordinary ways to give back to the places they call home. ATCU knows we’re at our best when we give together and we’re proud to share efforts that strengthen and uplift the communities so important to our mission.

Our Community Hero award was created to shed light on all the positive things happening right now in Northeast Alabama. In addition to these highlights, Alabama Teachers also gifts our recipients in recognition of their heroic efforts.

In partnership with WEIS Radio, our Community Heroes for the Cherokee County area for the 3rd Quarter are Daniel Money and Eric Watson. Money and Watson are Senior Troopers in the Marine Division. They both agree that one of the best parts of their job is helping individuals and families enjoy Weiss Lake. They encourage everyone to educate themselves on laws related to Weiss Lake and consider taking a boating safety course.

Congratulations to our Heroes of the Quarter for Cherokee County! We appreciate all you do for your community and the work you put in to keep Cherokee County safe!
