Mrs. Irene Allen Dupree was the 2nd born to the union of the late
Charlee and Paralee Major Allen on September 27, 1939
Irene professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age a joined the Providence Baptist Church.Irene was a devoted member, Mother of the Church, once upon a timeshe was over the kitchen committee, a choir member, attended SundaySchool faithfully, and was a matron.Irene received her education at the Hatcher High School where shesuccessfully completed her academic requirements to graduate in 1958Irene had a love for cooking, working puzzle books, and showing love by sending out cards to everyone. some of her pastime favorite things to do were watching Family Feud, Tyler Perry plays, and talking to herfamily and friends on the phone daily. she touched many lives and played multiple roles for many people, such as mother, auntie, friend,and granny, she was known to others as Dunne, Biscuit, and Dupe.Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dupree; son,RayKyle Sr.; her parents, Charlie, and Paralee Allen; grandparents;sisters, Dorothy Nell Hood and Rosa Faulkner; brothers, Marvin andJ.C. Allen. Irene leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Lynn (James) McCray,Birmingham, AL; son, William (Sherri) Dupree, Centre, AL; four special nieces/daughters, Sharon Walker, Darlene (Cedric) Williams, MonicaHood, Nikki Allen; grandchildren, Jamon (Jessika) McCray, Demetrius Borden, Kyonna Dupree, Jadarius and Javeas McCray, Tracy (Maurice) Zeigler, Tiajuana Kyle, Ray (Barbara) Kyle Jr.; a host of great-grands; four special nieces and nephews, Shequita Wood,Jevante Hood, Raven Williams, Briana Jones; daughter-in-law, Gloria Kyle,Stone Mountain, GA; uncle, Ike Whatley, Cleveland, Ohio; aunt,Verdell Walton, Birmingham, AL; sisters-in-law, Ethel and Marilyn Allen,brother-in-law, Willie C.
