A two-vehicle wreck took place at 12:45pm Saturday, in DeKalb County – sending two people to the hospital.
According to the Alabama State Trooper reports, a collision that involved a 2004 Chevy Tahoe and a 1997 Chevy S-10 – occurred at 12:45pm on County Road 85. The driver of the Tahoe, a male from Fort Payne, was only shaken up in the accident, however a male driver and a female passenger in the Chevy S-10, both Fort Payne residents also, had to be transported for the treatment of injuries sustained in that collision.
The vehicles reportedly hit head on. They two injured parties were taken to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga for treatment.
The accident currently remains under investigation of Alabama State Troopers.
