The road was blocked between Gaylesville and Cedar Bluff for a short time on Wednesday morning, after an SUV caught fire and caused traffic to back up – that, at around 7:35. The vehicle had somehow caught fire, but first responders were quickly on the scene to knock down the flames – and it appears that no one was hurt in the mishap.
The fire was quickly contained and that vehicle removed – we’ll have additional information as it becomes available.
