James Adrian Bouchillon, 51, passed away peacefully on Saturday,
September 19, 2023.
Adrian is survived by his wife, Kathryn Yarbrough Bouchillon, and
their children Avery and Gabrielle (Gabby); his father and mother,
James and Gloria Bouchillon; his brother, Brian (Heather) Bouchillon;
seven nieces and nephews that he adored and several other close family
members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Theodore and
Evelyn Bouchillon and Earl and Faye DeBerry.
Everyone that knew Adrian appreciated his loving and caring nature and
fun outlook on life. He treasured spending time with his family and
friends whether it was sharing a meal, having fun on the lake, hunting
or fishing. Adrian attended Centre First United Methodist Church and
Mt. Bethel Church in Marietta. He graduated from Cherokee County High
School as Salutatorian (Class of 1990) and Auburn University with
honors. Adrian had a successful career for almost 30 years with Core &
Main (formerly Hughes Supply).
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September
23rd, at Centre First United Methodist Church, with Brother Melvin
Salter officiating. Chris Tillery and Jarrod Bazemore will also
contribute to the service. The family will receive friends from 2:00
PM to 4:00 PM in the Worship & Education Center adjacent to the
church. A private burial will be held by the family.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod Bazemore, Michael Gorman, Jake Graves,
Hughbert Latham, Chris Tillery and Kevin Turner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the
Alabama Wildlife Federation (AWF) non-profit organization. The AWF
promotes hunting and fishing as an integral part of their mission
toward wildlife and natural resource conservation.
