ATTALLA – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors defeated area foe Etowah in three sets Monday. The scores were 25-15, 25-14, 25-17.

Macy Lea collected 22 assists, two aces, two kills and a dig for the Lady Warriors. Raegan Garmany posted five kills. Ava Haygood contributed six kills, three digs and a block. Libby Curry came away with four kills and an ace. Ellisan Givens delivered 18 digs and an ace. Nevaeh Gaidurgis accounted for six kills, five digs and two aces. Aubrie Abernathy added six digs, three assists and three aces. Leila Connell had 8 digs, an ace and an assist. Lilly Shaw managed three kills and four digs. Emilee Paul finished with three digs and two aces.

Cherokee County travels to Southside-Gadsden for a tri-match with Albertville on Tuesday.
