Mr Steve Bates age 75 of Centre passed away Sunday September 10th at his residence.
A Memorial service will be 3 PM Sunday September 17th at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Brett Clemens officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM Sunday at the church.
Survivors include wife, Sharon Bates; son, Greg (Kelly) Bates; daughter, Tara (Bruce) Reedy also 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 3 sisters; also – caretaker, Shawn Covington; and special thanks to Amedysis Hospice.
Mr. Bates was a native of Jacksonville and he was also the son of the late Walter and Delma Bates.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church Women World Missions.
