A single-vehicle crash that occurred at around 3:25pm Saturday afternoon (September 9th) has claimed the life of an Albertville man.
An 18 year old was fatally injured when a 2000 Chevy Silverado that he was driving left the road, struck a guardrail – and it then traveled onto a concrete bridge railing before sliding down into a creek. The driver, who according to reports – wasn’t using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. That crash occurred on Hustleville Road, near Rice Mill Chavers Road, approximately four miles north of Albertville, in Marshall County.
No additional information is available at this time and Troopers with the Alabama Highway Patrol continue the accident.
