Wednesday, Alabama State Troopers worked two separate auto accidents with injuries in Cherokee County.
The first wreck occurred at 12:04pm, on Alabama Highway 35 – involving a 2017 Infiniti, driven by a female listed as residing in Fort Payne. She was injured in that wreck – and was taken from the scene to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to the report, her vehicle hit a deer – which ended up coming through the front windshield of the vehicle.
At 11:20 that night, one person was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck, on Alabama Highway 68, near the 24 Mile Marker. That mishap involved a 2011 Infiniti being driven by a female of Centre, who was unhurt, and a 2006 Chrysler driven by a male of Collinsville – who received unspecified injuries.
Both crashes currently remain under investigation, by Alabama State Troopers.
