One Person Hurt in Two-Vehicle Accident Monday in Cherokee County / UPDATE

One person was hurt in a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle on Monday morning in Cherokee County – the wreck took place at 7:26am, at the intersection of County Roads 44 and 377 in Leesburg – near the Hopewell Community.

The motorcyclist, Max Hill of a Centre address, driving a 2022 Kawasaki bike was banged up in that mishap, and also received several injuries to the face.  

He was transported to Floyd-Cherokee Medical Center – here in Cherokee County – and afterwards was carried to Floyd Medical Center in Rome.  The driver of the other vehicle – a 2016 Toyota Tacoma – was unhurt in the collision.
