SAND ROCK — Zoey Handy and Katelyn St.Clair both posted eight kills to help the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats earn a Class 2A, Area 13 volleyball sweep of visiting Gaston on Thursday evening. The scores were 25-3, 25-15 and 25-5.
St.Clair also had three aces and two blocks for the Lady Wildcats (7-4). Bethany Davis delivered seven kills and three aces. Rylin St.Clair added 22 assists and seven aces. Chloe Stephens finished with nine digs and three aces.
The Lady Wildcats play in a tournament at Supreme Courts in Guntersville on Saturday.
