Jacksonville State University Student Found Dead in Campus Apartment – No Foul Play Suspected
An investigation is now underway after a Jacksonville State University student was found dead inside a campus apartment Wednesday. Director of Public Safety and Police Chief Michael Barton said the student, whose identity has not been released, died at Pannell Hall. Barton said there is nothing suspicious or any foul play surrounding the death.
The student’s body has been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy in order to determine an exact cause of death.
