Two separate automobile accidents occurring in DeKalb County on Tuesday – resulted in two people being hurt.

At approximately 12:25pm, a male driver from Collinsville, was injured, after crashing his 2009 Dodge on I-59 – close to the 210 Mile Marker.

At 9:50 that evening, there was a two-vehicle collision between a 2023 Mazda – and a 2019 Chevrolet, with one of those drivers’ being hurt as a result.

The driver of the Mazda, a female from Chattanooga, Tennessee managed to escape injury – however the driver of the Chevrolet – a resident of Port Neches, Texas – was listed as being hurt. 

No additional information regarding any of those hurt has been released.

Both of those accidents remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers
