Long-time members of the Cherokee County Farmers Federation, and husband and wife duo, James and Charlotte Grimes of Centre were honored recently at the federation’s annual meeting.
James was recognized for his many years serving as director, while Charlotte was recognized for here many years serving on the women’s leadership committee in addition to chairing the committee.
After a lifetime of dedication and hard work, the two are now retiring.
“These are two of the hardest working people I know and I appreciate all [they] have done to represent Cherokee County and Alabama Farmers Federation,” said Landon Marks of the Cherokee County Extension Office.
