Four Injured in Two Separate Auto Accidents in Cherokee County on Thursday

A total of four people were injured on Thursday in two separate two-vehicle auto accidents in Cherokee County.

According to Alabama State Troopers the first wreck took place at 5:50pm on County Road 82 as a 1998 Ford and a 2014 Infiniti  collided, injuring both drivers, with the driver of the Ford being female and the driver of the Infiniti, male; with both being from Cedar Bluff.

At 10:12pm State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 9 near the 263 Mile Marker, and that mishap involved a 2006 Hyundai being driven by a female from Leesburg – and a 2006 Dodge, driven by a female resident of Cedar Bluff.

Both wrecks remain under investigation by State Troopers – no information regarding the condition of any of those injured, has yet been released.
