Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes Two New Investigators and Two New Deputies

Sheriff Jeff Shaver administered the Oath of Office to two brand new investigators and also two brand new deputies on Tuesday – August 22nd.  Deputies Jakob Simmons and Lexi Bishop – both of whom are former corrections officers – begin the APOST academy training next week.  Chief Investigator Nick Brown started at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on Monday – and he comes with 20 years of law enforcement experience.   Additionally Investigator Josh Hairston was sworn-in Tuesday – and he brings with him more than 15 years of law enforcement experience.

Sheriff Jeff Shaver said – “We’re very excited to have them and I believe each of them will serve Cherokee County with great pride.”
