One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident that took place on Monday afternoon in neighboring Etowah County.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at 2:56pm a male resident of Centurburg, Ohio – driving a 2021 Jeep – lost control of the vehicle and wrecked near the 183 mile marker on I-59. According to reports, the injured party did have to be carried to an area hospital for treatment.
That wreck remains under investigation.
