Two accidents, with three injuries each took place on Sunday in neighboring Etowah County.
The first was at 5:45am on Highway 278 at the 123 Mile Marker when a male from Hanceville, Alabama – driving a 2003 Toyota was injured in the crash while the other vehicle, a 2003 Pontiac, wrecked and injured both a female driver and female occupant in that vehicle – both being from Oneonta.
At about 5:00 that afternoon a 2004 Jeep wrecked – injuring the female driver – a resident of Cedar Bluff and two passengers – a male and a female whose addresses were not listed.
Both wrecks remain under investigation by State Troopers.
