On Friday afternoon – the body of a man was found wrapped in plastic in Lake Guntersville – near the border between Marshall and Jackson County.  Jackson County Sheriff Rocky Harnen says the body was located about 1:00pm by a fisherman off of County Road 67, just before South Sauty Creek near Langston.

The body was taken to the state forensics lab for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.  Investigators from Marshall County, the Alabama Game & Fish Division, Marine Police and Guntersville Rescue Squad assisted.
