Well, our most recent “Spotlight” feature is on Cherokee County School Resource Officer, Lt. Jordan Kelley.
“I started my career in 2008 as a dispatcher for the Fort Payne Police Department prior to being assigned as a patrol officer in 2010. From there I served as a School Resource Officer, as well as a Traffic Homicide Investigator – before starting in Cherokee County in January of 2017.
Here, I have served as a patrol deputy and supervisor, Criminal Investigator and also a Fire & Arson Investigator with the Major Crimes Unit, and finally as the first School Resource Officer and SRO Unit Supervisor for Cherokee County.
The best advice that I can offer is treat others with patience and kindness – that goes a long way – and, treat others as you would want to be treated, even if they have wronged you.”
Help us celebrate SRO Lt. Kelley – and show appreciation for all that he does, on a daily basis.
