Alabama State Troopers responded to two accidents around the area on Sunday.
The first was on County Road 22 – at 2:27pm – here in Cherokee County, when a male from Centre crashed his ‘96 Chevrolet, and afterwards had to be taken for treatment.
That second mishap, occurring in Etowah County, involved both a 2014 Toyota and a 2005 Nissan with three people being hurt – that accident was on Bluntsville Road at around 2:20pm.
A female passenger, that was in the Nissan, was taken to an area hospital for treatment; meanwhile, two people – both the driver and a passenger in the Toyota – were taken to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Both accidents remain under the investigation of Alabama State Troopers.
