Summerville Police Arrest Georgia Woman on Drug Charges

According to the report recently released by the Summerville Police Department, a 34-year-old woman was arrested on drug charges after an officer responded to a call, just after midnight on Thursday of last week. 

According to reports the woman was seen near the intersection of Marvin Avenue and Ramey Street “acting strange”.  When officers approached the woman, they could tell that she was under the influence of some type of drug.   A glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine was found near where the woman’s possessions were found on the ground.  The woman denied that the glass pipe was hers. 

Emily Broome was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and the possession of drug related objects.
