Woman Accused of Stabbing a Man in Lindale

A homeless woman has now been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Lindale that occurred on Tuesday of this week.

According to the arrest warrant, 26-year-old Josie Laine Barker stabbed a man with a knife with an 8-inch blade after the victim had dropped her off at a location on Park Avenue.

The victim told the police that there was no confrontation prior to the incident and explained that Barker got out of his vehicle,  walked around to the driver’s side door, opened it, and stabbed him with the knife that HE had given to her earlier that evening.

Barker is charged with Aggravated Assault.
