Georgia Man Threatens To Shoot Another Man’s Eye Out

According to just released reports – Summerville Georgia Police were called to a domestic incident shortly after midnight last Sunday on Crowe Street.  Police talked with a man and woman who denied that a physical altercation had taken place, despite the fact that both of them were showing signs of having been in a scuffle.

A nearby resident had called 9-1-1 to report that the couple had been involved in an altercation – and the man was threatening the woman with a hammer.

Words had reportedly been exchanged between the couple and the neighbor.  The responding officer was unable to make any determination as to what had happened based on the couple’s statements.  The officer did tell the neighbor, and the couple, to stay away from each other and the officer then left the scene.

Shortly after 2:00am, a call came in from the neighbor stating that the subject had came back to his house and threatened to “shoot his eye out”.  The neighbor had audio proof of the threats which he played for the responding officer.  When the officer spoke to the man who had made the threats, he at first denied that he had been to the neighbor’s house but finally admitted that he had words with the neighbor.  In the recorded audio, the man who made the threats could be heard threatening to shoot the neighbor with a 9mm gun.

Based on the audio recording, twenty-two-year-old Christopher Timmons was arrested and charged with terroristic threats and acts and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
