UPDATE

First Responders with Piedmont and Spring Garden, responded to reports of an overturned 18 wheeler Wednesday morning on County Road 29 just outside of Piedmont near County Road 643 – close to the intersection.

The call came in at around 5:35am, and the driver – a male from Calhoun, Georgia – was reported to have received what seemed to be “minor injuries”, as a result of the mishap.

The truck was a 2015 Peterbilt.

That accident remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
