The body of a kayaker lost in Lake Guntersville – was recovered on Wednesday morning. The body was reportedly found just after 9:00am.
The kayaker, whose name hasn’t been released, was reportedly struck by a barge and killed Monday night and another kayaker was also involved in the incident, but survived. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), U.S. Coast Guard and several local agencies were involved in that search – which continued throughout Tuesday until Wednesday’s discovery.
