A northern Jefferson County woman was killed on Interstate 22 on Saturday afternoon. Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Somer Greenway. She was 36 and lived in Warrior.
The wreck happened at 3:20pm – two miles south of Brookside.
Trooper Cpl. Reginal King stated Green was driving a Chevrolet Cruz that left the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.
King stated that Greenway wasn’t using a seat belt and she was pronounced dead on the scene.
Troopers are investigating.
