Rescue crews, a number of law enforcement agencies, and also emergency personnel are currently at work in Etowah County after a vehicle, traveling on I-59, reportedly left a bridge in the Attalla area just after 2:00am and landed in the water.
It’s unknown how many people were in the vehicle. Rescue operations remain underway at this time.
What caused the wreck remains to be seen.
