Collier was born on September 5, 2012 in Gadsden, Alabama to Kayla
(Robert) Terrell and Dustin Foote.
He lived a rambunctious life with his four siblings; Best friend and
big sister Jorja Foote, Rooks Terrell, Alivia Terrell, Ridge Terrell.
Collier was a 4th grader at Sand Rock Elementary where he was loved
by his wonderful friends and teachers. Collier was a kind and
thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he
touched.
Collier loved to play pranks on his siblings and cousins and loved
to tell jokes. He knew everything there was to know about dinosaurs
and animals. He loved to ride his four wheeler and climb trees. He was
an avid Pokémon and funko pop collector. His favorite thing was
camping with his cousins at the campground in the summer. His family
knows he is riding his dream muscle car through the heavenly golden
gates and playing on the blissful clouds with the animals he loved and
who passed before him.
Even in the face of his own diagnosis, Collier remained a steadfast
friend, always optimistic, and encouraged others even through the
hardest trials. We will miss his kind, brave, caring and unimaginably
generous spirit.
Collier was never scared to take on new opportunities and did
everything with honesty and integrity. His legacy will carry on
forever reminding us to remain steadfast in our faith and we choose to
live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ
modeled for us.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are
to our family, friends and community who were there for us through the
6 years of intense treatments he endured. You all made sure he always
knew felt loved, all the way to the night of his passing.
Also, a heartfelt thank you to our Birmingham, New York, and
Charlotte oncology teams who provided Collier with amazing love and
care. A very special thank you to Dr. Modak, Dr. Sholler, and Dr.
Whalen who always fought for him and continue to fight for our kids of
childhood cancer.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made for a future
foundation in Colliers honor.
