Emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle accident in Cherokee County at approximately 5:25 Wednesday morning.
The vehicle left the roadway off Valley Street in Sand Rock, near County Road 70, where a tree was reportedly down across the road. That mishap temporarily trapped the driver inside of the overturned vehicle – however, he did manage to get out a short time later.
