Funeral service for Fred Thomas Rhinehart, 91, of Rock Run will be on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home.
Burial with military honors will follow at the Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until time of service.
Mr. Rhinehart passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at his home.
Survivors include two grandsons, Nathan Miller of Rock Run and Cody Poole (Bridgett) of Spring Garden; great grandsons, Jaxson Poole and Noah Poole; special friend, Linda Pittman of Spring Garden; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Poole, Nathan Miller, Jeff Rhinehart, Grady Rhinehart, and Howard Pittman. Honorary Pallbearers
will be Jaxson Poole and Noah Poole.
Mr. Rhinehart was a lifelong resident of Rock Run, where he was the oldest member of the Rock Run Community and was also the oldest member of Rock Run Baptist Church. He
was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He retired from Rome Plow in Cedartown, Georgia. Mr. Rhinehart enjoyed tinkering and fixing things and restoring antique tractors, military cannons, and jeeps that he kept displayed in his yard. He loved spending time with his great grandsons.
Mr. Rhinehart was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Ada Lee Tierce Rhinehart; daughter, Wanda Poole; his
parents; brothers, Winford Rhinehart, John Rhinehart, Albert Rhinehart, G.W. (George Wallace) Rhinehart, Clyde Rhinehart, Reese Rhinehart, Sam Rhinehart; and sisters, Mattie Williams, Estelle Hinton, Ruth Rutherford, Juanita Wallace and Edna Tierce.
