Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a man who was reported missing from Bessemer this week
Homer “Jerry” Abernathy, age 75, was last seen at about 8:00am Tuesday, walking in the 2200 block of Dartmouth Avenue; that, according to Police Lt. Christian Clemons. He also stated that Abernathy does have a condition that could affect his mental ability.
Abernathy was last seen wearing a royal blue plaid long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a tan hat.
