U.S. 411 Lanes Closed for Intersection Concrete Work
The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advises motorists that U.S. 411 will be reduced to one through lane in each direction for intersection improvements at Alabama 68 in Leesburg for the next several weeks.
The inside through lanes and left turn lanes in both directions on U.
S. 411 will be closed while pavement is removed and replaced. Left turns will be allowed from the outside through lanes. Please drive with caution and expect delays.
The $2.9 million project with contractor Grout Inc.
includes pavement removal and replacement with concrete to increase the durability of the intersection and reduce maintenance. The project is anticipated to be complete late this year.
