Death Investigation in Northwest Georgia

Update – A Rome, Georgia man died after falling into a manhole while doing some plumbing work last Wednesday afternoon on the campus of Armuchee High School.  It’s believed that the man fell 20 feet and Lifeflight was called to the scene as first responders worked to rescue him.

Unfortunately that man died before he could be pulled from the manhole.

Deputy Floyd County Coroner John Hamilton has identified the man as 34-year-old Robert Wallace Hall.   His body will be transported to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy

A Go-Fund-Me page has been established for the family of Hall.
