Armuchee Man Charged With Elder Abuse
An Armuchee man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on Mark Street off Martha Berry Highway for hurting his 76-year-old mother during an argument with his nephew while holding a club-like weapon, reports state.
According to Floyd County Jail reports: Kenneth Wayne Rogers, age 53, is charged with felony elder abuse and misdemeanor battery and making terroristic threats. He remained in jail on $5,700 bond as of Thursday morning.
