Sewer grant approved for the Town! Mayor Brandy Pierce informed the Council their grant from the State’s ARPA Funds has been approved in the amount of $563,000, which will be used to upgrade and expand the Town’s current system.

A contract with ESO for emergency responding services in the amount of $1,790 was approved.

$907.99 was approved for the fire department to purchase a new printer and ink. The fire department was approved for the purchase of fans, lights, and gutter for a covered space at the back of the fire hall. The fire department was also approved for a 2nd AED. They want one for each truck. The matching amount will be $410.

The police department was approved for a push bumper for one of the police vehicles in the amount of $2,465.

David and Pat Hartline Day was approved for the first Saturday in October to coincide with the county wide celebration recognizing the couple for their dedication and hard work for Veterans and their families and to support David’s nomination for the Presidential Medal Of Freedom.
