A 12-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital after he was shot in the head early Monday afternoon in north Alabama.
The incident took place at 2:00pm in Ider, in DeKalb County.
Officers quickly arrived and found the young boy wounded, and he was transported to a hospital via MedFlight.
The Police Department said – “We just ask that everyone please pray for this young boy,”
The investigation was on-going as of Monday evening.
Police said that there was no threat to the public.
