Warm and humid conditions persist across the Southeast which
will support the development of numerous to widespread thunderstorms
this afternoon as a cold front moves into the region. Storms will be
focused across the south tomorrow as the front stalls near the I-85
corridor. Some of the storms could become strong to severe capable of
producing damaging winds, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours which
could lead to localized flooding.
