Expect lane closures for intersection concrete work
HUNTSVILLE —The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists to expect lane closures to resume for intersection improvements at U.S. 411 and Alabama 68 in Leesburg on or after Monday, July 10.
The eastbound outside lane of Alabama 68 approaching U.S. 411 southbound will be closed for about two weeks. Also, U.S. 411 southbound will be reduced to one through lane approaching the intersection.
The $2.9 million project with contractor Grout Inc. will include pavement removal and replacement with concrete to increase the durability of the intersection and reduce maintenance.
The project is anticipated to be complete late this year
