One person was injured Wednesday morning in Etowah County, in a two-vehicle accident occurring just after 10:00. That wreck took place on the Appalachian Highway – and it involved a 2014 Ford, being driven by a male from Jacksonville, Florida. He was unhurt – but a female, also from Jacksonville, was injured in the mishap.
No one was injured in the other vehicle – a 2004 Mercury, being driven by a male resident of Gadsden.
The cause of that wreck remains under investigation.
Alabama State Troopers responded.
