According to the Chattooga County Magistrate of Court records, Saturday, June 16th (2023) Joshua Laing Simer, age 39 of Trion, shoplifted more than $600 worth of items from Wal-Mart.
Simer, who had been banned from the store in March, allegedly shoplifted 10 items, with a combined value of $609.37
Simer was booked into the Chattooga County Jail, charged with felony Theft by Shoplifting and Criminal Trespass.
