Mrs. Josephine “Pat” Ferguson, 90 , of Rock Run passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Piedmont Health Care.

There will be a private service at a later date.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Donna Pope  of Rock Run; daughter, Sandra Hane of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Tracey Hane, Nathan and Amy Pope, Matthew Hane, and Lindsey and Rick Ashworth; six great-grandchildren, Seth Collins, Baily McMichael (Dalton), Mikayla Dempsey, Ava Pope, Ethan Ashworth, Isabell Hane, and Judd Pope; one great great grandson, Noah McMichael; special friends, Doug Studdard and Ruthann Mullen, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ferguson was a lifelong resident of the Forney and Rock Run communities and a member of Rock Run Baptist Church. She had been a long-time employee of Pope Furniture, where she was always there to help you or just to have a pleasant conversation. She enjoyed sewing and working in her flowers. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her fur babies held a special place in her heart and she took special care of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garvin Ferguson; parents, Joe and Gertie Lockridge; and two sisters and brothers-In-law, Virginia and Bill Cronan and Polly and Bill Putman.
