KTH in Leesburg Receives Bomb Threat Tuesday Evening

A Bomb Threat was called into KTH in Leesburg around 6:15pm Tuesday (June 27, 2023).

The Leesburg Chief of Police along with other Leesburg Officers along with EMA2 and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the scene. 

Fire units from Leesburg, Centre and Sand Rock were placed on standby as well as EMS.

Both a supervisor and several officers scanned the facility – and determined nothing was out of place.

At that point, KTH resumed operations as normal.

Leesburg Police Chief Jamie Chatman would like to say “Thank You” to everyone who responded to this call.
